             In Memory

We have to say goodbye to Sonny Pasarella who passed in 2018. Sonny was an active member of VTSSC Club for over 13 years and had many friends in our club. He was passionate about the sport and mentored many into becoming better clay shooters. Sonny was a pioneer in our sport and great inspiration to the club.

Richard "Dick" Troyer, a long time active member of VTSSC Club, officer and eager volunteer passed in 2019. Dick was an outstanding VTSSC enthusiast, highly skilled clay shooter and always had time to help members. He had many friends in the club and all will miss his big smile, kindness and ability to motivate members. In 2020 our club dedicated and named the Trap & Skeet Field in Dick’s memory at BlackJack Shooting Grounds.

James "Jim" Flaitz an active member of the VTSSC Club passed in February 2020. Jim was a multi-sport multi-talented clay shooter for many years. He made friends easy and always shared a big smile with everyone he met. His energy and outgoing personality will be missed. Jim’s family started a scholarship fund and presented it to our club. The scholarship is used to welcome new club members during their orientation class. Donations to support Jim’s fund welcomed.
