New & Returning Member Orientation & Refresher

The  Village Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays Club conducts member orientation during the year.  The session is a hands-on event offering information on the history of the club and how members can utilize the club to benefit their shotgun clay shooting experience. Members new to the club and current members seeking updates on activities, events and club direction are welcome to attend.

Schedule

Notice to the entire membership (via email) is sent out and a list of participants and guests is developed.  The session is then planned to take place at one of the shooting ranges allowing members to both attend and not miss out on a day at the shotgun range. Usually will follow on the second Thursday of the month.

Safety Refresher

VTSSC Club members are asked to attend a shotgun and clay sports safety refresher every 24 months.  Presenters will cover practical safety methods and practices expected during group activities.  Also a session on clay target shooting etiquette, rule changes and general information participants should know when active in the sport.
